Description
SEFTRIO-TZ is an antibiotic injection that contains 1000mg of Ceftriaxone and 125mg of Tazobactam. This injection is used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections by killing harmful bacteria and helping to prevent antibiotic resistance. SEFTRIO-TZ is commonly prescribed by doctors for infections of the lungs, urinary tract, skin, abdomen, joints, and female reproductive organs. It is also used to treat bloodstream infections (septicemia) and other serious bacterial infections.
Working of Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam Injections
Each vial of SEFTRIO-TZ contains 1000mg of Ceftriaxone and 125mg of Tazobactam, along with sterile water for injection. Ceftriaxone works by killing bacteria through damaging their protective cell wall, and Tazobactam helps to protect ceftriaxone from bacterial enzymes that can make antibiotics less effective. Together, they provide strong protection against a wide range of bacterial infections, including many infections that are caused by resistant bacteria.
